Joint Aviation Management Diplomas

The Lebanese-French University (ULF) and Beirut Wings SAL (BW) have recently joined forces to develop two academic diplomas in Aviation Management. The two diplomas are intended to complement the certified licenses that are issued to BW pilots and are designed to give them a global appreciation of the modern aviation sector, as well as a further edge when joining the professional environment.

Although primarily designed for pilots, the two diplomas are also of benefit to airline employees, maintenance staff, administrators, ground and flight personnel, and anyone working or intending to work in the aviation sector. The diplomas form an integral part for staff career development and enable personnel to contribute better to their organizations. Each diploma will be comprised of five specialized modules that are concerned with specific areas of aviation.

The Faculty of Business at ULF, will be responsible for the overall management of the diploma program. The modules will be delivered at the state-of-the-art premises of BW at Rafic Hariri International Airport-Beirut (RHIA-B). Anchoring the program at BW, will give the students a chance to experience true professional aviation and will also enable them to build solid networks in the field.

  • Scheduling: The modules will be scheduled on a rolling basis throughout the year and will be delivered by experts in the field. Each module will entail 40 contact hours and will be scheduled over a 4-weeks span, Mondays-to-Fridays from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. That will have minimum interference with work schedules of students. A diploma can be completed in a minimum time of 7 to 8 months.
  • Entry Requirements: A Lebanese National Secondary School Certificate or equivalent as well as proof of English competency (IELTS 6.5 or equivalent). ULF can provide English proficiency testing and placement.
  • Pricing: The ULF-BW Diploma program is competitively priced at $950/module.
  • Awards: Students successfully completing either diploma will be awarded a Certificate of Completion issued jointly by BW and ULF.
